This conference is managed in collaboration by the leading organisations in medical education and training across the UK who are coming together again to provide this unique and high quality joint national UK Medical Education conference.

At a time of change, risks and opportunities, with a recognised need for collaboration across traditional boundaries, this conference has inspired and motivated its audience as a platform for learning and linking participants with experts and peers across the country.

Open call for proposals to host a parallel session

Abstract submission is open

Abstract submissions are invited for either oral short communications or poster presentation.

Abstract submissions are strongly encouraged from early career educators and students.

Abstracts will be judged on academic rigour, originality, potential impact, communication, learning and educational value.

Oral communications will be livestreamed virtually.

Those abstracts deemed to be ‘stand out’ submissions will be invited to present live from Manchester Central in the Abstracts theatre. These presentations will be livestreamed on the day. Posters will be available virtually via the conference app. Of these, highly rated poster submissions will be invited to attend in person at Manchester Central to present orally in the Abstracts theatre.
